देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड की सुप्रसिद्ध विजुअल आर्टिस्ट सुलभा जोशी ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय कला जगत में राज्य का मान बढ़ाया है। सुलभा उत्तराखंड की पहली महिला कलाकार बन गई हैं जिन्हें विजुअल आर्ट्स के क्षेत्र में अंतरराष्ट्रीय जूरी (International Jury) सदस्य के रूप में चुना गया है।
सुलभा को किर्गिस्तान के बिश्केक में आयोजित प्रथम SCO यूथ डेल्फी गेम्स (1st SCO Youth Delphic Games) के लिए इस प्रतिष्ठित पद पर नियुक्त किया गया है।
सुलभा जोशी शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (SCO) के सदस्य देशों के बीच होने वाले इस सांस्कृतिक महाकुंभ में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रही हैं। यह आयोजन कला और संस्कृति के माध्यम से वैश्विक एकता को बढ़ावा देने वाला एक बड़ा मंच है।
अपनी इस उपलब्धि पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कोटद्वार निवासी सुलभा ने कहा कि यह न केवल उनके लिए बल्कि पूरे प्रदेश के लिए गौरव का क्षण है। उनकी कला यात्रा पहाड़ों की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता और सांस्कृतिक जड़ों से प्रेरित रही है। सुलभा का यह चयन राज्य की अन्य उभरती महिला कलाकारों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत बनेगा।

in Bishkek: Renowned visual artist Sulbha Joshi from Kotdwar, Uttarakhand has achieved a monumental milestone in the international art world. She has become the first female artist from the state to be appointed as a member of the International Jury in the field of visual arts. Sulbha has been selected for this prestigious role at the 1st SCO Youth Delphic Games held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Representing India in this cultural extravaganza among Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member nations, Sulbha Joshi brings immense pride to her home state. These games are a modern revival of the ancient Pythian Games, aimed at fostering global unity through arts and culture.
Reflecting on her achievement, Sulbha stated that this recognition is a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. Her artistic journey has been deeply influenced by the natural beauty and traditions of the Himalayas. Notably, she has previously been honored with the ‘Make In India Award’ and the ‘Nari Gaurav Samman’ for her creative brilliance.
