अकादमी के निदेशक ने पुरस्कार वितरित किये

देहरादून। जस्टिस केशव चंद्र धूलिया की द्वितीय वाद-विवाद एवं निबंध प्रतियोगिता इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय वन अकादमी में आयोजित की गई
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि व अकादमी के निदेशक आईएफएस डॉ. जगमोहन शर्मा ने विजेताओं को नकद पुरस्कार, पदक और ट्राफियां प्रदान कीं।
सोबन सिंह जीना विश्वविद्यालय के इकनीत सिंह, यूपीईएस के अभ्युदय श्रीवास्तव, ग्राफिक एरा हिल यूनिवर्सिटी की हिमानी रावत और सोबन सिंह जीना विश्वविद्यालय की दिव्या बिष्ट ने निबंध प्रतियोगिता में क्रमशः स्वर्ण, रजत, कांस्य पदक और विशेष उल्लेख प्राप्त किया। विजेताओं को क्रमशः 25 हजार, 15, 10 और 5 हजार का नगद पुरस्कार दिया गया।
वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता के विजेता चाणक्य लॉ कॉलेज रुद्रपुर के अदीबा अंसारी और प्रथम अवस्थी ने 30 हजार रुपये का नगद पुरस्कार और विजेता रनिंग ट्रॉफी जीती।
उपविजेता ट्रॉफी और 20 हजार रुपये का नगद पुरस्कार उत्तरांचल विवि के अभिनव बंसल और स्वप्निल श्रीवास्तव को दिया गया।
आभा टी गांधी, डॉ. लोकेश ओहरी, डॉ. संजीव चोपड़ा और मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. जगमोहन शर्मा, निदेशक आईजीएनएफए (इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय वन अकादमी) ने विजेता छात्रों, संकाय सदस्यों और देहरादून के प्रतिष्ठित नागरिकों को संबोधित किया।
निबंध प्रतियोगिता की परीक्षक श्रीमती आभा टी गांधी ने अपने संबोधन में न्यायमूर्ति के सी धूलिया को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की जिनके अधीन उन्होंने वकील के रूप में काम किया था।
उन्होंने संविधान में निहित मूल्यों पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने विचार प्रक्रिया को व्यवस्थित करने और उसे बनाए रखने के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
डॉ. लोकेश ओहरी ने किसी के तर्क में ‘वैज्ञानिक प्रश्न’ के महत्व और प्रासंगिक डेटा के महत्व पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने मेधा पाटकर और नर्मदा बचाओ आंदोलन के साथ अपने व्यक्तिगत जुड़ाव के बारे में बताया ।
डॉ. संजीव चोपड़ा ने विभिन्न न्यायाधिकरणों में रहने के अपने व्यक्तिगत अनुभव से ‘तथ्यों’ के महत्व के बारे में बात की और कहा कि आपके मामले पर बहुत भावनात्मक रूप से बहस की जा सकती है, लेकिन यदि तथ्य इसका समर्थन नहीं कर रहे हैं तो उनके तर्क जीतने की संभावना नहीं है।
युवा कानून के छात्रों को तैयारी और पढ़ने के महत्व को समझाने के लिए उन्होंने सुरेंद्र नाथ बनर्जी की कहानी सुनाई, जो भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के दो बार अध्यक्ष थे । और कैसे वह अपने राष्ट्रपति भाषण की तैयारी के लिए किताबों का ट्रंक लोड करके हिल स्टेशन पर ले गए थे।
मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. जगमोहन शर्मा ने कर्मभूमि फाउंडेशन की पहल की सराहना की और स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में पंडित भैरव दत्त धूलिया और उनके अखबार की भूमिका को याद किया। उन्होंने दर्शकों को प्रकृति से सीखने के लिए प्रेरित किया ।
उन्होंने कहा कि जीवन में कोई एक निश्चित स्थिति नहीं होनी चाहिए क्योंकि इससे संघर्ष होता है और अगर दुनिया के आठ अरब लोग ऐसा रुख अपनाएंगे तो अराजकता फैल जाएगी।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन अनिता जोशी ने किया। धन्यवाद ज्ञापन कर्मभूमि फाउंडेशन के सचिव हिमांशु धूलिया ने किया।

FUNCTION
The prize distribution ceremony Of Justice Keshav Chandra Dhulia Second Debate and Essay Competition was held in Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy On 19 January 2025.
Dr Jagmohan Sharma IFS Director of the Academy was the chief guest and gave away the cash prizes, Medals and Trophies.
Abha T Gandhi, Dr Lokesh Ohri, Dr Sanjeev Chopra and the Chief guest Dr Jagmohan Sharma, Director IGNFA ( Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy)addressed the winning students, faculty members and distinguished citizens of Dehradun . Mrs Abha T Gandhi the examiner of the essay competition in her address paid tribute to Justice K C Dhulia under whom she had worked as Lawyer ,she highlighted the values enshrined in our Constitution, which was the subject of the Essay and expressed her appreciation of some of the essays wherein original thinking was present, she highlighted the importance of organising the thought process and maintaining the same. Dr Lokesh Ohri emphasised upon the importance of the ‘ scientific question’ in one’s argument and importance of relevant data. He narrated his personal association with Medha Patkar and Narmada Bachao Andolan and how their plea was lost in the historical case on account of insufficient data. Dr Sanjeev Chopra in his speech talked of the importance of ‘ facts’ from his personal experience of being in various Tribunals and stated that your case may be argued very emotionally but if the facts are not supporting the same they are unlikely to win an argument. To impress upon the young Law students the importance of preparation and reading he narrated the story of Surendra Nath Bannerjee who was twice President of The Indian National Congress and how he took trunk loads of books to hill station in order to prepare his Presidential address.
The Chief Guest Dr Jagmohan Sharma complimented the Karmabhoomi foundation for their initiative and remembered the role of Pandit Bhairav Dutt Dhulia and his newspaper in the freedom movement. He impressed upon the audience to learn from Nature which was robust and balanced. He stated that there should not be one fixed position in life because it leads to conflict and if eight billion people of the world take such stance there would be chaos. Therefore he recommended adjustment and accommodation for harmony in personal and professional life to be purposeful .
Ikneet Singh of Soban Singh Jeena university, Abhyudaya Shrivastava of UPES, Hemani Rawat of Graphic era Hill university and Divya Bisht of Soban Singh Jeena university won Gold, silver, bronze medals and special mention respectively in the essay competition. They were also given cash prize of
Rs 25000/15000/10000/and 5000 respectively. The debate winners of Chankya Law college Rudrapur Adiba Ansari and Pratham Awasthi won cash prize of Rs 30000/- and Winner running Trophy . The Runner up Trophy and cash prize of Rs 20000 /- went to Abhinav Bansal and Swapnil Shrivastava of Uttaranchal University.
The programme was conducted by Anita Joshi and in the end Himanshu Dhulia, secretary of Karmabhoomi foundation delivered vote of thanks.
