Dear Dr. Sharma,

Please refer to the letter number VC/HNBGU/2024/407 dated 30-05-2024 received by you around 11:15 a.m. on 30-05-2024, whereby you were expected to convey your option. It was also conveyed to you that in case you do not convey your option within 24 hours of the receipt of the aforementioned letter, it shall be presumed that you are ready to accept one month’s salary in lieu of notice and demit the office, forthwith.

Since you have not conveyed your option within the stipulated time period, therefore, in compliance with the resolution passed by the Executive Council, you are hereby discharged from the duties of the Registrar of HNB Garhwal University, forthwith. Your salary for one month (which is in lieu of notice) is being disbursed to your bank account.

During your tenure as Registrar of the University, you were entrusted with official documents, data, and other movable property/ties of the University, hence, you are hereby directed to deliver the possession of the entire official documents, data, and other movable property/ties of the University entrusted to you during your tenure in the University with immediate effect to the office of the Vice-Chancellor, as per rules.
